When to Use Chroma Key

Most streaming software supports transparent browser sources directly. However, some setups (like hardware encoders or older software) may require chroma key instead.

Add to Your Overlay URL:

?bg=chroma&keyColor=green

Available Colors:

green
blue
magenta

OBS Chroma Key Setup

  1. 1Add Browser Source with chroma key overlay URL
  2. 2Right-click the source → Filters
  3. 3Click + → Add Chroma Key
  4. 4Select Green (or your chosen color)
  5. 5Adjust Similarity to ~1 for clean edges

💡 Tip: For best results, avoid team colors that match your chroma key color!
